Google adds browser-based store and in-app billing for Android users

Google has introduced three significant new features to the Android Market: a web-based Android Market service, local currency pricing and in-app billing.

Android Market on the Web allows users to find applications from their browser, with chosen apps downloaded straight to their smartphone.

Buyer’s Currency lets developers price their applications differently in each of 32 countries where Android apps can be purchased.

And In-app Billing enables users to purchase digital goods from within an application.
