Google adds local stock availability to mobile search

Google has launched 'Product Search for mobile with local inventory', which lets consumers see whether the products they've searched for are available locally. The service is currently only available in the USA via participating retailers, including Best Buy, Sears, Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn and West Elm.

Location-enabled mobile product search is available on iPhone, Palm webOS and Android-powered devices.
