Google makes Quickoffice productivity app free for Android and iOS

Google has made the Quickoffice productivity app free for Android and Apple iOS devices. Quickoffice, which enables users to update Microsoft Office documents from a mobile device, was acquired by Google last year.

The new Quickoffice app integrated with Google Drive storage to let users access Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files. Consumers who already have a Google account will receive an extra 10GB of Google Drive storage if they sign in from the Quickoffice app by 26th September.
