Google's uncertainty in China delays two Android phones
Google's 'new approach' to China and its decision to review its Chinese business operations has apparently resulted in delays to the release of two new Android phones. The company had planned to release two smartphones in partnership with China Unicom – one handset made by Samsung, the other by Motorola – but the launch has now been postponed. No formal statement about the reason for the delay has been made, although press reports blame the current uncertainty about Google's future in China. [Sources: Guardian.co.uk; NYTimes.com]
