Social location service Gowalla has just released version 3 of its iPhone application.
Gowalla 3 combines updates from Gowalla, Facebook and Foursquare friends – and also enables users to ‘check in’ on Facebook Places and Foursquare.
Other changes include a new check-in interface that’s faster than previous versions, a ‘bookmark’ feature and a location-specific notes option that allows users to leave messages for friends when they visit a certain place.
Gowalla is also available for Android, BlackBerry and Palm devices.
