Last week, mobile application developer Handmark said it was turning its social apps business and mobile ad services group into a new company.
That subsidiary has now launched under the name of OneLouder Apps. It’s currently responsible for TweetCaster for Twitter and FriendCaster for Facebook, with plans to launch a suite of new entertainment-based products.
Evan Conway, President of OneLouder, said “The outstanding growth in mobile, paired with the endless amount of socially powered information produced every day, presents an incredible opportunity. With apps that have the amazing ability to comb through social and digital sources and deliver hyper-targeted information direct to the mobile device, OneLouder will bring to consumers the most engaging way to enjoy mobile content.”
