Motorola Mobility has announced two new hands-free devices in its Elite Series of accessories. The Motorola HZ800 Bluetooth headset and the Motorola TZ700 Bluetooth in-car speakerphone are both compatible with the company’s MotoSpeak2.0 application, which offers text-to-speech and speech-to-text technology allowing users to have their text messages read aloud and to dictate responses. MotoSpeak2.0 also announces the caller or sender’s name.
The HZ800 is equipped with three microphones for optimal noise and wind cancellation, eliminating noise in up to 40mph winds, while the TZ700 also has noise-reduction and automatically activates when the user enters the vehicle.
Both products will be available in Europe from March 2011 and can be pre-ordered order from motorolastore.eu.
MotoSpeak2.0 will be available from the Android Market when the Bluetooth products launch, with versions also planned for other platforms.
