Two months ago, Apple filed a lawsuit against HTC. Now HTC has taken legal action against Apple. It's filed a complaint with the United States International Trade Commission to halt the import and sale of the iPhone, iPad and iPod in the United States, outlining five HTC patents it says are infringed by Apple products.
Jason Mackenzie, HTC's vice president of North America, said "We are taking this action against Apple to protect our intellectual property, our industry partners, and most importantly our customers that use HTC phones."
It's the latest in a string of legal cases within the mobile industry. As well as the Apple/HTC complaints, there are now five separate legal complaints between Apple and Nokia.
