Is Google's Nexus One related to the Nexus 6?

The Nexus One. An Android-powered device.
The Nexus 6. An android.

The similarity hasn't been missed by the estate of novelist Philip K Dick. Dick is the man who wrote Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, which gave rise to the film Blade Runner. Both feature 'Nexus 6' humanoids. Apparently the estate is going to sue Google for unauthorised use of the Nexus name – although, because nexus is also a standard English word, it's probably not going to be a straightforward case. Incidentally, Motorola licensed the name 'Droid' from Lucasfilms when it created its Android-powered phone last year.
