Last month we reported that broadband benchmarking company Epitiro had found UK mobile broadband speeds were dramatically less than advertised. Now broadband comparison company Broadband Genie says just 11.5% of mobile broadband users are satisfied with the speed of their mobile broadband. Of the remaining customers, around a quarter were undecided and almost two-thirds said their 3G broadband wasn't fast enough.
Of course, it could be argued that a survey on a comparison website is most likely to be completed by dissatisfied consumers – but, even if this is the case, it highlights an issue with the image of mobile broadband service. [News release]
