Trade publication The Bookseller is reporting that online book store Amazon could announce the arrival of its Kindle 2 mobile-connected electronic book in the UK next week, ahead of the Frankfurt Book Fair (14th – 18th October). The Kindle was originally launched in the USA two years ago, although it uses WiFi and CDMA technology for downloads rather than the UK’s GPRS/3G standards.
