King of Pop dies, mobile industry finds an angle

I wondered how long it would be before someone in the mobile industry found an angle on Michael Jackson’s death. O2 has offered its condolences; entirely understandable, given that Michael Jackson's UK performances were scheduled for The O2. On a less sympathetic note, T-Mobile UK has just announced that two million more text messages than usual were sent on its network last night. [O2 press statement; T-Mobile Twitter feed]
