Leadership restructure sees new CEO for MEF

MEF, the international trade association for companies that want to make money from mobile products and services, has restructured its leadership team. It’s created a new role of CEO, which has been filled by former MEF Executive Director Rimma Perelmuter, and has appointed Joanne Lacey to the position of Chief Operating Officer.

Rimma Perelmuter has been with MEF since it launched in 2001, while Joanne Lacey has recently held senior roles at mobile games companies.

Andrew Bud, MEF’s Global Chair, said “As the mobile becomes the consumer’s first screen all over the word, MEF’s mission serves a very rapidly expanding community. Rimma and Joanne’s appointments reflect MEF’s commitment to support our member base in both developed and growth markets, by delivering member focused products and services that make MEF an essential business enabler.”
