LG mobile phones to get Good Technology's messaging service

Good Technology and LG Electronics have signed a licensing agreement that'll see Good Technology's Good for You mobile email, social networking and online storage service pre-installed on a number of LG mobile phones, including the GW520, GW550, GW620, GD510, GM730 and GM750.

Brian A Bogosian, chairman, CEO and president of Good, said "Today mobile device makers realize that a vertically integrated set of services on a robust platform is a requirement to go along with an attractive form factor in providing complete value to end users. And these mobile users want to be connected all the time in a wide variety of ways - from email to texting to social networking to sharing photos - and Good is committed to providing the solution that makes it as easy as possible for people to connect, communicate and share on the go. Good for You extends mobile communications beyond email with an integrated experience that spans messaging, social networking, and media sharing."

The Fonecast's Mark Bridge is meeting Good Technology later this afternoon, so we'll have an in-depth report online in a few hours.
