Man killed by exploding mobile battery

Reports from China say a 20-year-old man was killed last week when the battery in his mobile phone exploded. The man, who was working in a mobile phone shop, died on Friday when his mobile exploded next to his chest. He had apparently just changed the batteries in his phone. There's no information about the make and model involved, although previous reports of exploding batteries have involved counterfeit parts. [Sources: asiaone.com; EngadgetMobile.com]
