Mazuma expects handset recycling to double this year

Mobile phone recycling company Mazuma Mobile says it’s created a new workshop in London to help it recycle an additional 100,000 mobile phones per month. The company processed 125,000 handsets and paid out £3.7 million to customers last month, although it expects to be handling 200,000 mobiles every month by the end of the year – twice as many as it did at the start of 2009.
