Microsoft OneApp offers a multi-purpose mobile application

Microsoft has launched a software application called OneApp. It’s aimed at ‘feature phone’ users in developing markets, enabling them to use a variety of popular mobile phone applications by installing a single app on their device.

OneApp currently supports Facebook, Twitter, Windows Live Messenger and Mobile Wallet. It can also be used as a platform for software developers who want to create other applications for ‘non-smartphones’. [Press release]
