Digital Chocolate, the company behind the Millionaire City and MMA Pro Fighter games on Facebook, is now launching the games on Android devices. Millionaire City was the second fastest growing game on Facebook in 2010.
The company is debuting the Android versions of its games on independent app store GetJar.
Jason Loia, COO of Digital Chocolate, said “Bringing our hugely popular social games to Android made a lot of sense as consumers take to the Android platform in droves. We decided to launch our games on GetJar because of their proven ability to market apps and games to consumers, their understanding of the space and their willingness to work closely with publishers to build awareness of their content.”
Android downloads on GetJar have grown by up to 500% since April 2010.
