Mobile consolidation in Switzerland for Orange and Sunrise
France Telecom and Danish telecoms company TDC have agreed to merge their Swiss operations - Orange Switzerland and Sunrise – with France Telecom taking a controlling stake in the new business. The result will be a merged company with around 3.4 million mobile customers plus 1.1 million fixed and broadband customers in Switzerland. [Press release]
