Onavo, which offers a number of data compression and monitoring apps for mobile devices, has announced that it’s becoming part of Facebook.
The three-year-old company also offers a market intelligence service based on mobile usage data.
Its mobile utility apps are expected to continue running using the Onavo brand.
In a blog post, co-founders Guy Rosen and Roi Tiger said “We’ll continue to advance the work we are doing in collaboration with Facebook’s great team. Thank you to everyone who has joined us on this journey. We’d like to extend a special thanks to our investors, who believed in us and in our vision from the early days. We’re excited for what’s next.”
