Our guest on The Fonecast this week is Chris Rogerson, Marketing Manager at ShP Limited. Although his company name may not be familiar, it's one of the UK's largest independent mobile phone recycling businesses... and it's the organisation behind Mopay.co.uk, which gives cash or M&S vouchers to consumers who post their phones for recycling. ShP is now providing a similar service for independent mobile dealers, enabling them to offer incentives or discounts at the point of purchase - and also covering their legal obligations under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive. Chris explains all about handset recycling, tells us how the new scheme works - and lets our listeners know how they can get involved.
