Mobile sales down for Sony Ericsson and Nokia

Sony Ericsson has announced its results for the first quarter of 2009. It shipped 14.5 million units, down 35% year-on-year, with sales revenue down 36% to 1,736 million Euro. It also says it's going to cut another 2,000 jobs to reduce costs. Meanwhile, over at Nokia, net sales are down 27% year-on-year to 9.3 billion Euro - and profits are down 90%.
