Verizon would like Vodafone’s 45% stake – but there’s no hurry

Verizon Communications’ Chief Executive Ivan Seidenberg says his company would like to own Vodafone’s share in mobile business Verizon Wireless, which is 55% controlled by Verizon and 45% by Vodafone. He reckons that Vodafone will eventually sell – and added that his company had no interest in making a bid for Vodafone. [WSJ.com; WashingtonPost.com]
