Mobile video sharing service Bambuser has announced an updated iPhone application that offers improved audio and video quality.
The company’s service – currently available on over 200 devices across a range of mobile platforms – lets users broadcast live video from their mobile phone while also receiving live messages from viewers. The video streams can also be shared on social networks and embedded in websites.
Bambuser is free for consumers and has the option of premium or media accounts for business users.
The new iPhone update provides a combination of Bambuser’s low latency and high quality live broadcasting. It also supports hardware accelerated video streaming and on-demand frame rate enhancements.
Jonas Vig, Bambuser’s CEO, said “At Bambuser we have strived to make mobile video simple and fun, enabling anyone with a mobile device to share their experiences in real-time. By upgrading our application for the iOS platform we have continued our commitment to provide video solutions to consumers worldwide, and, importantly, have presented it in a combination that no one else has yet achieved.”
