Vodafone UK looks for more business-focussed virtual networks

Vodafone UK and Gamma Telecom have signed a Mobile Virtual Network Aggregator wholesale agreement, enabling Gamma to create Mobile Virtual Network Operators on the Vodafone network.

It’s Vodafone UK’s first MVNA that specifically targets the business market and is due to go live in Q2 2011.

Bob Falconer, CEO at Gamma Telecom, said “This is the best opportunity in a decade for our channel partners to confidently get back into mobile services with the UK’s best network and knowing that they can compete effectively, differentiate their capability, and build real value into their businesses.”
