Motorola has launched its first Android-powered devices along with a software solution that synchronises information from various online sources.
The phone we’ll see in Europe is called DEXT and will be exclusive to Orange in the UK. It’s a slide-open smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard, a touch-sensitive screen and a 5 megapixel camera. In the USA it’ll be called the CLIQ and will be available from T-Mobile.
MOTOBLUR is the software that’ll be available on DEXT and other Android/Motorola devices. It can sync contacts, posts, feeds, messages, emails and photos from Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Gmail, Yahoo, Last FM and work email accounts, delivering everything to the phone’s home screen.
