New branding for Sony Ericsson moves it closer to Sony

Sony Ericsson says it’s adopting the new make.believe brand message that was announced by the Sony Group earlier this week. It’s also changing its ‘liquid identity’ circular logo by adding seven new colour variations and a new ‘liquid energy’ flowing from the logo. It’s all part of the company’s aim to become what it describes as “the Communication Entertainment brand”.

In addition, Sony Ericsson says it’ll be increasing its focus on interactive digital and social media channels. [Press release]
