Good Technology, which provides secure mobile access to information for businesses, has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer. King R Lee III, who was already one of the company directors, has been named president and CEO with immediate effect. He replaces Brian Bogosian, who'd been with Good Technology for a decade.
Mr Lee said "Good Technology appreciates Brian's many contributions during his ten year tenure with the company. In 2009, Brian helped Good Technology execute two substantial acquisitions which have reinforced the company's leadership in secure and managed enterprise mobility. Good has over 4,000 enterprise customers, including 40 of the Fortune 100 companies and, in the first half of 2010 alone, over 1,500 enterprises have deployed our Good for Enterprise solution to secure and manage their rapidly expanding base of iPhone, iPad and Android device users. As Good continues to build on this momentum, I look forward to helping the company focus on operational excellence and to drive new growth opportunities."
King R Lee III has spent the last 30 years working in the technology sector. He was president and CEO of PC software company Quarterdeck Corporation – later sold to Symantec - and co-founded Wynd Communications, which was later sold to Purple Communication. Previously he'd been CEO and president of the XTree Company, which has also become part of Symantec.
