New research from the CFI Group shows that consumer-focussed smartphones are more popular than business devices when it comes to customer satisfaction. The CFI Group Smartphone Satisfaction Study looked at 1,000 smartphone users in the USA, discovering that the Apple iPhone was top for customer satisfaction, scoring 83 out of 100 points, with Android and the Palm Pre webOS device scoring 77 points.
Smartphones favoured by business users followed; the BlackBerry scored 73 points and the Palm Treo managed 70 points. Finally, the ‘others’ grouping - which put Symbian together with Windows Mobile - scored 66. The study also found that most new smartphone owners are using them primarily for personal use.
