Following last year's trial scheme that provided mobile phone coverage on the Waterloo & City Line, the London Underground has decided not to roll-out mobile coverage across the Tube network. Transport for London was quoted as saying they hadn't received "a credible proposal for enabling mobile phone use on the Tube" and that "project costs would be prohibitively high at this time".
