No single mobile network leads the UK for web speed

Network management company SIRODA has released the results of a comprehensive survey of UK mobile networks. It compared the data speeds of all five UK operators over a 60-day period across 150 UK locations, measuring mobile data connection speed between 10am and 10pm throughout the day.

O2 offered the fastest average web page access in London, although all five networks were pretty evenly matched when the rest of the UK was measured.

The survey, which was commissioned by O2, was independently verified by the British Approvals Board for Telecommunications.
