Nokia has announced a handful of new devices at Mobile World Congress, including a 41 megapixel Symbian smartphone.

The Nokia Asha 202, 203 and 302 handsets are ‘smarter’ feature phones running the company’s Series 40 operating system. They’ll be priced from 60 Euro. Alongside the phones there’ll be an expanded version of Nokia Life Tools, the SMS-based service that can deliver practical content in a variety of areas from parenting to agriculture.

When it comes to Windows Phone smartphones, Nokia’s launching the new lower-budget Lumia 610 and is also expanding the Lumia 900 - previously a US-only handset - to more markets, including the option of a non-LTE version.

Nokia 808 PureViewFinally, the Nokia 808 PureView runs the Nokia (Symbian) Belle operating system and is equipped with a 41 megapixel camera sensor, which captures images at a maximum 38 megapixels. The company says lower-resolution images are also much sharper than comparable devices. The high-resolution sensor, Carl Zeiss optics and Nokia-developed imaging algorithms are expected to be used in future Nokia products. Nokia’s 808 PureView also features CD-quality recording and exclusive Dolby Headphone technology.
