Nokia Music becomes the Ovi Player

The Nokia Music application has now become the ‘Ovi Player’. The original software was a PC-based program that let users play music, download tracks and transfer them between their computer and their Nokia phone.

Ovi Player is based on the Nokia Music application but adds a few new features, redesigned controls and Windows 7 support. Despite the new name it remains compatible with all existing Nokia Music stores. [Ovi blog]
