Nokia has published its Q2 2009 figures today. Profits are down 71% year-on-year to 427 million Euro and sales are down 25% to 9.9 billion Euro. Shipments were also down year-on-year – a 15% drop, with the company shifting 103.2 million devices – although these figures were all up when compared with the previous quarter.
The company confirmed that it expects the global mobile market to shrink by around 10% this year and says it anticipates Q3 figures being similar to Q2. [Press release]
