O2 spending up to £2 million on its dealers in next 6 months

O2O2 says it's making £2 million available to invest in its channel partners during the first six months of 2010. The money will be available to help current and new partners increase the number of O2 customers.

As well as this, O2 says it's going to let dealers manage more of its customers. 100,000 customers have already been 'handed over' this year from O2's direct sales channels to Centre of Excellence partners; these are O2 dealers that meet particularly strict criteria. O2 says Centre of Excellence partners this year have cut 'churn' from their customers by 6%. [O2 news centre]
