Orange confirms UK iPhone launch on 10th November

Orange is going to start selling the Apple iPhone in the UK on 10th November. That’s two years after the original iPhone went on sale exclusively via O2. It’ll be available through Orange shops, the Orange website, Orange’s new HMV concessions, The Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4U, Apple stores and a number of Orange dealers.

The Apple iPhone 3G will be free on a two-year £30 ‘pay monthly’ contract, while the 16GB iPhone 3GS will be free on £45 plans. There’s unlimited mobile data and BT Openzone WiFi access (subject to terms and conditions). The iPhone 3G will be available for £333 on a ‘pay as you go’ tariff if customers spend £50 on their first top-up. [Press release]
