CMT, which is based in Copenhagen, provides passenger information systems on public transport and in transport hubs. Most of its business is currently for railways in Denmark. The organisation’s advertising sales operation is unaffected by the deal.

Ian McLaren, CFO of Nomad Digital, said “Commute Media brings a combination of proven expertise in its field of multimedia passenger information, with a ready-made specialist product team that knits perfectly with Nomad’s strategy of offering a full range of real-time solutions to transport operators.”

Services installed by Nomad Digital include passenger WiFi on Amtrak, Arriva, Dubai Metro, NS, Eurostar, Queensland Rail and Virgin Trains.
