Lee Kun-hee, who left his role as chairman of Samsung Electronics in April 2008, has returned to the company after two years. Mr Lee was convicted of tax evasion in 2008, when he was fined around £55 million and given a suspended prison sentence. However he was pardoned by South Korea's president last year and has now returned to run the company his father founded.
