Samsung plans to double its smartphone market share this year

By the end of 2010, Samsung will be selling more than 10% of the world's smartphones. That's the company's plan, revealed in an interview this week with Bloomberg. It currently has less than a 5% smartphone share.

Samsung's newest smartphone is the Galaxy S, launched earlier this month. It's an Android-powered handset with a 4-inch touchscreen.
