Samsung reveals 7-inch Galaxy Tab 2 running Android Ice Cream Sandwich

Samsung Electronics has announced the GALAXY Tab 2 (7.0), a 7-inch tablet that’ll run version 4.0 of the Android operating system. The new Galaxy Tab will be available in the UK from March in 3G+WiFi and WiFi-only versions.

JK Shin, President of the IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics, said “Two years ago, Samsung GALAXY Tab began to offer customers more possibilities on the go. Since then, Samsung has actively enhanced our tablet line-up with several tablets in different sizes. The new GALAXY Tab 2 (7.0) will provide people with delighted multimedia experience and allow efficient communication.”

The GALAXY Tab 2 (7.0) will use an upgraded version of Samsung’s Touchwiz user interface and a mobile content-sharing service that’ll let users play or stream multimedia content on their GALAXY Tab 2 from other devices.

Specifications include a 1GHz dual-core processor, a 1024x600 pixel display, a 3-megapixel camera and up to 32GB of built-in memory.

Wow. Then it will be great! The features are really nice. I'm hoping to buy this one this coming week.
