San Francisco passes mobile phone radiation law

San Francisco's Board of Supervisors has approved a new law that'll require mobile phone retailers to tell customers how much radiation each handset emits. The ruling – the first of its kind in the USA – will mean that each phone's specific absorption rate (SAR) will be available at the point of sale.
