Sony Ericsson app store to offer 70% revenue share

Sony Ericsson’s PlayNow arena, which is becoming an application store, has said it’ll give developers 70% of revenue – the same split as Apple and Nokia. The company is going to start by selling Java ME and Symbian S60 5th Edition applications, adding other platforms later this year. There’ll be no charge to submit applications and no annual fee, with apps selling from 3 Euro each (around £2.60). [Source: mocoNews.net]
