T-Mobile spoof closes station

A group of several thousand people closed London's Liverpool Street station last week when they copied the current T-Mobile television advertisement. The group, which had been united via Facebook, started dancing at 7pm on Friday night. Most listened to music through headphones, making the scene rather more surreal than the choreographed TV ad. City of London police estimated that 12,000 people had attended, forcing the station to be closed due to fears of overcrowding. [Source: Telegraph.co.uk]
