T-Mobile UK has announced a new tariff that’ll let customers make unlimited calls, send unlimited texts, and use the mobile internet as much as they want without any ‘fair use’ restrictions. The deal is called The Full Monty and will be available on all phones in the T-Mobile UK range from Wednesday 1st February 2012.
The Full Monty is a 24-month price plan with a minimum charge of £41 per month, depending on the chosen phone. (A £36 monthly plan offers unlimited text and web with 2,000 minutes of calls). The allowances of unlimited calls and SMS text messages apply to all UK mobile networks, voicemail and numbers beginning with 01, 02, 03 (excluding Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man). Free WiFi via BT Openzone is also included.
Ben Fritsch, Head of Propositions at T-Mobile UK, said “Over the past two years, we’ve seen a rise in mobile internet use of over 250%, which reflects the consumer trend of being ‘always on’ wherever they are. However, consumers also still want to retain a more personal level of communication by calling or sending a text. The Full Monty has been designed for customers who want the peace of mind that there are absolutely no limits placed on their allowances, whilst also knowing they’re getting market leading value for money. We believe our Pay Monthly portfolio offers plans to suit anyone’s needs, all at accessible prices – and we’re really proud to be the first to offer a plan like The Full Monty in the UK”.
