Google Goggles lets you search from photos on your mobile

Google has announced a new search option for users with Android-powered mobile phones. Google Goggles lets you search using images taken with the mobile phone's camera. The company says it's currently particularly good at generating results from pictures of books, DVDs, landmarks, logos, contact information, artwork, businesses, products, barcodes and text. You can download the Goggles application from the Android Market; it's a Google Labs project at the moment, which means it's still in beta.
