HTC and Microsoft sign Android patent agreement

Microsoft and HTC have signed a patent agreement that covers HTC’s mobile phones running the Android mobile platform; an operating system that's not usually associated with Microsoft. The agreement with HTC would seem to exclude the Taiwanese manufacturer from future Microsoft legal action… and could be a useful weapon in its current legal dispute with Apple.
