Samsung releases software development kit for bada

Samsung has released its 'bada' software development kit - SDK 1.0.0b2 - to the developer community, enabling anyone to create applications for the bada platform. This is a beta version; the full version is expected later this month.

The company says bada mobile phones will be available in 75 countries this year, starting with the Samsung Wave S8500. The Wave, which was announced at Mobile World Congress in February, was originally due in April and is now expected within the next few months.
