The Apple iPhone 4 has gone on sale today but it's only available in black. Apple has issued a statement that says white models of the new iPhone 4 "have proven more challenging to manufacture than expected", which means they won't be available until the end of next month. The availability of the iPhone 4 black models is not affected, although UK retailers are already starting to run out of stock.
