New focus on 'connected devices'
Mozilla has said it’ll stop producing smartphones based on its Firefox operating system. However, it will continue its research into other connected devices.

He’d been the company’s interim CEO since April after Brendan Eich stepped down.

Brendan Eich, who was co-founder of Mozilla and had previously been Chief Technology Officer, had been in his new position for less than a fortnight.
