RBS and NatWest have launched an NFC mobile contactless payment service for bank customers with an Apple iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S.
The service, which is called TouchPay, has been developed with Visa Europe and uses a protective iCarte cover that incorporates NFC technology.
O2 is looking for a new mobile money partner after ending its partnership with NatWest, according to a report in Mobile News. NatWest will continue to provide banking services for the Cash Manager and Load & Go cards until a new provider is chosen. O2 Money, the brand behind the two cards, was launched last summer.
